A little planning. A world of possibility.

Kosher cruise planning guide

Compare the sailing, the kosher program and the complete price.

A kosher cruise can mean freshly prepared supervised meals, an inclusive Fresh Kosher fare, or a Minyan Sailing with cruise-line frozen kosher meals. The exact departure determines what is offered. Use this guide to find the right program and read the published prices.

01

Which kosher cruise program do you need?

Fresh Kosher Dining add-on

Freshly prepared supervised meals. Venue, rabbi and service style appear on the sailing page.

The dining package is separate from the cruise cabin fare. Check age rates and any additional dining gratuity.

Fresh Kosher dining included

The listed inclusive program includes fresh kosher dining. Published Oceania Fresh Kosher groups are for adults 18+.

Dining is already in the displayed cabin fare. Do not add it a second time.

Minyan Sailing

Reserved space for guest-led prayer; a minyan depends on a quorum. Request cruise-line frozen kosher meals in advance.

This is a different service from Fresh Kosher Dining. Do not assume a fresh dining program is included.

See what a kosher cruise includes and Shabbat at sea. Kashrut supervision, dairy arrangements and prayer services should be checked for the individual sailing.

How to find and compare kosher cruise prices

  1. Browse upcoming sailings and open a departure’s sailing page.
  2. Match the cabin occupancy and category. Choose the number of adults and children traveling; guest counts can change the per-person fare.
  3. Check whether Fresh Kosher dining is included, optional, waitlisted or unavailable. Add the dining cost only where it is separate.
  4. Check the price, availability and listed inclusions for your selected cabin. Prices are in USD and can change. Optional packages, travel extras and charges not expressly included remain additional.

For two adults, the combined price is the cruise cabin total plus the dining total for two, including any additional dining gratuity. An inclusive fare already contains dining. Children's dining costs require their ages, and free child dining does not mean a free cruise.

Good to know

Common questions

How much does a kosher cruise cost?
There is no single price. Choose a ship, departure date, cabin category and guest count. On a sailing with an optional Fresh Kosher Dining package, add that package to the cruise cabin fare. On an inclusive Fresh Kosher sailing, the dining program is already part of the cabin fare. Check the cabin occupancy, dining rate, gratuities and inclusions before comparing offers.
Where can I find prices without calling?
Browse upcoming sailings on our homepage and open a departure to see cabin options and published dining rates. Select your guest count and preferred cabin category to compare prices. If a fare is unavailable, contact our team for assistance; an unavailable price does not mean the sailing is sold out.
What is the difference between fresh and frozen kosher meals?
Fresh Kosher Dining provides freshly prepared supervised kosher meals on the listed program sailings. Standard cruise-line kosher meals are a separate option, generally pre-packaged and frozen, which must be requested in advance. The individual sailing page describes the venue, service, supervision and program available on that departure.
Can I add Fresh Kosher Dining to a cruise booked elsewhere?
Fresh Kosher Dining is offered with cruise reservations booked through Fresh Kosher Cruises, including agencies booking through Fresh Kosher Cruises. It cannot simply be added to a reservation made independently with the cruise line or another agency.
Do children get free kosher meals or a free cruise?
Dining age bands and rates vary by sailing. Some programs offer free dining for children ages 0–5 and youth rates for ages 6–12; other programs charge one rate for all ages. A free dining package does not make the cruise fare, taxes or other charges free. The published Oceania Fresh Kosher groups are adults only, ages 18 and over.
Is a Minyan Sailing the same as a Fresh Kosher Dining cruise?
No. Minyan Sailings provide reserved space for guest-led prayer and are distinct from the Fresh Kosher Dining program. Cruise-line frozen kosher meals must be requested in advance. A minyan requires a quorum; a reserved prayer space does not guarantee one. Check the exact departure's arrangements.
Does an available cabin guarantee a place in kosher dining?
No. Kosher dining has its own capacity and may be sold out or waitlisted while cruise cabins are still available. Check the dining status on the sailing page before treating a cabin price as an available Fresh Kosher package.
What details are needed for a useful quote?
Provide the ship and departure date, number of cabins, adults and children in each cabin, children's ages, preferred cabin categories and kosher dining preference. Connecting cabins, larger parties and unpublished arrangements may need assistance from the Fresh Kosher Cruises team.
